I think my title’s quite self-explanatory. Feeling the pain of people leaving your life or changing is all a natural part of growth and development in life. Losing a friend or family member or watching them become something or maybe I should say, someone, you never thought they’d be is something everyone experiences.
I’m not the best at accepting this *harsh* reality, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that sometimes, a drastic change like this could be for the better.
Sometimes we don’t know why God would want to remove people that we loved or enjoyed out of our lives. But whenever someone special to me leaves, I hold on to the promise that God says in the quote above…
“Greater is coming.” He will never leave us empty or unsatisfied. God only wants to provide us with family and friends in whom He can reveal himself to us. We need people in our lives to help us love God more and help us develop into the people He wants us to be.
No one will ever love us the way he does. And if we ever come across people that make us forget that, then I think God has the right to remove them from our lives. His love for us is far deeper than anything we can comprehend and beyond that, it never changes – even when people do.
